Code of Conduct

AMPAC Fine Chemicals’ (AFC) reputation for integrity is vital to our success. We must all conduct ourselves within the limits of the law, to avoid any perception of impropriety. This is why we require each person to make a personal commitment to follow our Code of Conduct as these policies guide us in upholding our ethical commitment.

AFC considers work rules & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be an important responsibility of each individual. Such guidelines are essential in ensuring employees are treated fairly as well as work safely and effectively. All employees are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with AFC’s rules and regulations and to perform to the standards established for each job. Please note that changes in existing rules or the addition of rules may be initiated at any time at the option of AFC.

Matching 401k Plan

Ampac Fine Chemicals offers a pre-tax retirement savings 401(k) plan and/or a post-tax ROTH 401(k) plan to eligible employees. Employees are eligible to participate in their appropriate plan on the first of the month, following their month of hire. Employees can contribute one percent (1%) to one hundred percent (100%) of earnings to the plan, subject to limits required by government regulations. Traditional contributions are made before taxes, while ROTH contributions are made after taxes. Participants are immediately 100% vested in their contributions to the plan as well as any earnings, and in the Company matching contributions and any earnings.

Health and Welfare Benefits

Full-time or part-time employees scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in the Company health & welfare benefits. Spouse and/or dependent child(ren) may be eligible for certain benefits subject to the eligibility requirements for each coverage. For newly hired employees, coverage takes effect on the first day of the month following hire. The health & welfare benefits include two medical plans to choose from, dental, vision, life insurance, voluntary life insurance / AD&D plan and flexible spending accounts. Discounted Gym Memberships

Ampac Fine Chemicals believes in a healthy work / life balance. The Company offers a corporate discount with California Family Fitness or a $20.00 monthly stipend to use towards the gym of the employee’s choosing.
